WESPAA - R Lab is an independent research lab, headed by 'Uday Kiran Kandala', conducting interdisciplinary work in robotics, materials, manufacturing, aerial vehicles, planetary exploration, cyber physical systems, unmanned and autonomous systems. The lab focuses on developing innovative technologies and scalable solutions to address complex challenges across these domains.
CURRENT PROJECTS:

ROMER - I (Reconfigurable Omnidirectional Modular Elastic Robot) is a modular robotic system designed for versatile movement and adaptive configuration across complex environments. Its structure combines elastic elements with multiple actuators, allowing the robot to reconfigure, roll, and maneuver autonomously in terrestrial, and planetary exploration scenarios (2026-2030).

Glyph Perturbation Cardinality (GPC) is a novel method to hide the heterogrnous data inside the textual glyphs post rasterization. This raster domain text steganography method is capable of hiding high amount of data through pixel intensity manipulations inside the glyphs. Zero D - GPC is an extension of GPC framework applied to multimedia and textual data with zero distortion possibility of textual glyphs as the cover carrier (2026-2028).
